Radiator Manual
User Manual
Radiator Installation:
This radiator is suitable for hot water and steam system. (the highest temperature is 120℃)
1. The installation of radiators must guarantee the following smallest distances:
2. From the door12cm
3. From the wall2/5cm
4. From any slot or shelf 10cm
5. When the heat insulation of wall's back is insufficient, an extra insulation layer is needed to reduce heat loss as much as possible.
6. Every radiator should be equipped with an air emission valve and an automatic one is desirable. (especially when the radiator must be separated from the system)
7. The suggestive water PH is 7-8 which will not erode ordinary metal.
8. UNI CTI 8065/89 regulations----as for the wastewater treatment of home radiators, it is proposed and clarified the use of chemical or physical attributes of water in the home heating system, in particular ," for the performance optimization and safety concerns so as to make up for the existing laws and regulations;". It is a legal obligation to abide by this regulation. (Law 5/3/90 No.46, government order 28/8/93 No.412 and the amendments hereafter). Therefore, some suitable specified products like CILLIT HS 23 Combi or SENTINEL X100 can continue to be used by such a means.
Use of radiators
1. Never use materials which can easily scratch the surface for cleaning.
2. Moisturizers made of permeable materials such as pottery are prohibited.
3. Avoid the separation of radiator from the system caused by the complete closure of the valve.
4. If it is necessary to emit air from radiators frequently, then this phenomenon indicates that a malfunction of heating system has already occurred. Please contact with reliable technicians or Rongtai Company.
5. Aluminum radiators should avoid touching copper parts directly because these two types of materials have different potential differences which can easily bring about electrochemical corrosion. Some copper valves such as temperature control valve should be treated to prevent corrosion and insulate heat in order to evade electrochemical corrosion.
Note:
Manufacturers will not claim responsibility for the consequences incurred due to improper operations or for unauthorized maintenance work. Do not shut down the in-flow and the outlet since this operation will insulate the radiator.
